Microsof Dynamics is not responding

Hi experts,
 
I'm currently working with Dynamics 365 in my organization, but it's been crashing frequently and the performance is really slow. Any suggestions on how to fix or improve this?

    It’s difficult to say without knowing what type of Dynamics product you have issues with.
     
    My advice is that you reach out to either Microsoft Support or your implementation partner for advice, as they can access your Dynamics instance.

    First of all, which app are you using? CRM, F&O, BC...cloud or on prem?
     
    Is it generally slow or "only" for certain processes? If it is the latter, do you have any customization in this process? If so, then debugging would be an option.
     
     
    If it is not linked to a certain process, then I would create a MS ticket, they can check the data and maybe suggest some setup in F&O.
     
    What you can also do, is to check the SQL queries on LCS. Sometimes there are blocking statements, that would give you some insights what is going on.

    Can you define slow? It's slower than usually, or has always been slow.
    It can also be due to customizations to the CRM system.
     
    If it's on-premise, then it's worth having a look at the infrastructure behind it.

    • Client-Side: Clear your browser's cache and cookies regularly. Test by disabling browser extensions, using a different supported browser (Edge, Chrome), and ensure you have a stable internet connection and sufficient computer resources.

    • Customizations: The most frequent culprit. Work with your developers to optimize custom JavaScript on forms, inefficient plugins, complex workflows (especially real-time ones), and numerous business rules. Simplify dashboards and views with many charts or large datasets.

    • Data Management: Implement strategies for archiving or cleaning up old, irrelevant data. Consider integrating with SharePoint for document storage to reduce database load from attachments.

    • Environment Health: Check the Microsoft 365 Service Health Dashboard for any outages impacting your Dynamics 365 region.
