Hi,

I have a question about an error message that I am getting. It comes up with a unable to save batch activity table error when trying to process my batch. I am very new to dynamics so I don't know if this is a simple fix or something more serious. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you much

    Hello,
     
    This usually happens when we have a duplicate record in the SY00800 tables. 
     
    Since you are not able to save the current batch, I would suggest trying the following:
     
    1. Close and re-open GP.
    2. Attempt the same process and see if successful now.
    If that does not work, try the below:
    1. Have all users log out of GP and have your IT clear the activity tables.
      1. Determine if you can enter the transaction and save it to the batch without error.
    If that does not work, I would suggest the following next.
    1. Delete the batch which will delete all the transactions in the batch.
    2. Close GP.
    3. Re-open GP.
    4. Recreate the batch and transactions in the batch. 
    5. Verify the error no longer occurs.
