Bulk Uploading booking lines

Posted on by 2

,

Trying to use the 'import from excel' function in Dyanmics to do a bulk upload of Booking Lines.

I had used the 'export to excel' function and then added data at the bottom of the sheet as per my usual process. I used the following fields;

Organisation, booker name/email, Booking source, attendee type and order number (ID).

When I tried to import, I got failures on each line saying 'Requires SalesOrder ID is missing'. Naturally I then added. column with the above name, and added the sales order ID of the booking related to the booking line- I still got the same error.

Any ideas how to combat this issue?

Thanks in advance

    Also if you are following the correct process then check data format..if it will not match then system will fail data import.

    Hello User,

    Please refer below thread where I haved provided details for the Data temple download and import process.

    When you creation a record using import during that time you will need data templates because new records will not have GUID.

    Where as when you are using the export excel and then importing it..this process mostly used for the bulk update as Column A,B,C will have all the details related with the existing records.

    Thank you,
