Hello Community,

We are currently evaluating the approach for a PPAC-managed environment that requires the following applications:

Dynamics 365 Finance
Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise
Dynamics 365 Field Service
Dynamics 365 Project Operations
Dual-write integration

We are using the new PPAC-based provisioning model and do not have any LCS-managed environments.

During our installation, we have tried several approaches to provision a environment but have encountered different issues in each scenario.

Scenario 1 – Finance + CE Environment

Provisioned Finance & Operations and CE and Field service through PPAC.
Dual-write was successfully configured and functioning for more than 6 months.
However, Project Operations was not visible under Resources → Dynamics 365 Apps for installation.

Scenario 2 – Project Operations ERP Template

Created a new environment using the Project Operations ERP template.
Finance & Operations, Project Operations, and Dual-write applications were automatically provisioned.
However, Dynamics 365 Field Service was not installed and was also not visible for installation afterwards.

Scenario 3– Blank Environment

Created a completely new environment without selecting any Dynamics 365 template.
Followed the Microsoft-recommended installation sequence for Dual-write packages ‘Manually deploy the Project Operations Dataverse app with dual-write support | Microsoft Learn’
Getting the error while installing the Project operation with the error message ‘This app can't be installed because its packages aren't compatible with this environment.’
As a result, we could not proceed further with the Project Operations deployment.

Questions:

Has anyone successfully provisioned an environment containing all of the following applications with dual-write?
- Dynamics 365 Finance
- Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise
- Dynamics 365 Field Service
- Dynamics 365 Project Operations
What is the recommended installation sequence for:
- Dynamics applications
- Dual-write solutions

Are there any prerequisite applications, solution dependencies, licensing requirements, or Dual-write packages that must be installed before Project Operations becomes visible in the PPAC application list?

Any guidance, deployment experience, or Microsoft documentation references would be greatly appreciated.

We have already raised the MS support ticket #2607210030004702, their suggestion (scenario 3) is also getting failed.
