Hello experts,
 
For example, the employeeResponsibleWorker on CustCustomerV3Entity, what is it used for? Is it similar to display method, or we can map this method to import the data?

    You should check Computed columns and virtual fields in data entities in F&O documentation.
     
    employeeResponsibleWorker() defines a computed column (CustCustomerV3Entity.EmployeeResponsibleNumber). It returns a piece of T-SQL code which is then included in the underlying view definition.
     
    It defines just a return value for export; it says nothing about how a value could be imported or whether it's possible or not. You can use both virtual fields and computed columns in import mapping, but you need custom code to define how the value should be processed.

    Additionally I have tested the entity and this is the behaviour it shows.
     
    1) On-Export: it export the worker-id(employee Id), for field Employee Responsible of Customer Master record.
     
    2) On-Import: you can specify the a worker-id in the field EMPLOYEERESPONSIBLENUMBER of data entity and that would imported as Employee Responsible of customer master data.

    The employeeResponsibleWorker
    in CustCustomerV3Entity is not just a display method - it serves a
    different purpose and has different capabilities than a display method.

    Key Differences from Display Methods

    1. Data Structure: Unlike display methods which are computed at runtime, employeeResponsibleWorker is part of the entity's data model and represents a relationship to a worker (employee).

    2. Import Capability:
      Yes, you can map and import data to this field. It's designed to store a
      reference to the responsible worker/employee for a customer.

    3. Database Storage: This field is persisted in the database, whereas display methods are not.

    Usage

    This field is typically used to:

    • Track which employee is primarily responsible for managing the customer relationship

    • Enable filtering/reporting by responsible employee

    • Drive workflows or assignments based on the responsible worker

    Import Considerations

    When importing:

    • You would typically map this to the worker/employee ID

    • The system expects a valid worker reference that exists in the system

    • You may need to use the worker's personnel number or other unique identifier depending on your import setup

The reply assumes that is employeeResponsibleWorker a field, not a method of a computed column, and therefore all parts of the answer are wrong (and there are other mistakes as well).
