Hello,

I work on a project where I'm told CAMT bank statements formats are not supported in Chile by Microsoft Dynamics.

I'm a bit surprised.

Can you confirm?

Hmm... That sounds interesting indeed.

What Dynamics product and version is this? Finance and Operations, Business Central, Navision etc.

It's Microsoft Dynamics Finance 10.0.43 10.0.2177.37

I read "camt053.001.08 est prise en charge dans la version Finance 10.0.37." which means camt052 is handled in Finance release 10.0.37

Thank you for confirming. I have moved your question to the D365 Finance forum, hope you don't mind

It's an internationally recognized payment instruction that is part of ISO 20022, and is available for all countries, for example us in Finland. I haven't heard anything talking against it not working in Chile, so if the bank or financial institution provides CAMT formatted payment instructions / statements I fully expect it to work in D365 F&O. But others here can correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd like to know more about why it should not supported (-:

In your case, it’s possible that the CAMT format is technically supported in Dynamics 365 Finance 10.0.43 but may not be enabled or configured for Chile due to localization constraints.
Could you please Check the Electronic Reporting (ER) configurations in your environment to see if CAMT formats are available for Chile. If the format is not available, you might need to customize the ER configuration.

Thanks guys.

I'd be curious to have the reason of which localization could be incompatible with CAMT that is the format of the future vs old MTs.

If that's the root cause, what kind of development is to be performed? If it's to redevelop the format from scratch, this wouldn't be acceptable. If it's about ticking a few checkboxes, it becomes more acceptable.
