429 Error During Sales Invoice Posting

Hi Community,

I am facing an issue in D365 Finance & Operations while posting Sales Order invoices.

Whenever I click the Invoice button, I sometimes get the following error:

The remote server returned an error: (429) Too Many Requests.

Sometimes I have to try 50–60 times before the invoice is successfully posted.

Has anyone faced this issue before or can suggest what could be causing it and how to resolve it?

Thanks!

You'll need to find out where the error comes from before you can address it. All we know so far is that it's caused by some unsuccessful HTTP call, but we don't know what it's about.

The first thing I'd check is Application Insights, if you've configure Monitoring and telemetry to log errors, or LCS logs otherwise. If you're able to reproduce the problem in a non-production environments, developers can also debug the code to see the problem in the real time.

    Hi @Rashid.Ali

Please check if the issue exists in dev and do the debugging to find out the error. If not, please conect your UAT environment and do the troubleshooting.

    Thanks,
    Subra
