Hoping someone here is familiar with/has used this feature. It looks to be relatively new (Feb 2026): https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/configure-email-address-resolution
I have setup the EmailAddressConfiguration records that are supposed to control whether a field is used for resolution and they do not appear to be working.
To test; I had setup an account with emailaddress1 set to test@example.com (a real working email address was used) then setup a range of different accounts with emailaddress3 set to test@example.com.
When I send from test@example.com and it tracks in; the from field resolves to the oldest account that has test@example.com in the emailaddress3 field. It should have tracked into the newer account that has test@example.com in the emailaddress1 field.
I hope this makes sense.
Is there a configuration setting somewhere that needs to be enabled for this feature to work properly?
