Hello,

I have 2 questions:

1. How do I create new Gift Cards? Setup is done in retail Parameters. But I could not find info how to create new ones.

2. When we do "void" and set the balance to 0.00, new record is created in transaction vouchers, but there is no info at all from which gift card number the transaction comes. Is there any possibility to find which gift card number has been voided only by looking at voucher transactions? Or we need extra development to transfer gift card number to Transactions?

Gift Card Creation and cancellation

I have very limited experience with Commerce, but hope this helps a bit.

Normally, I’ve just created gift cards from the retail POS, but it’s also possible to do so from Call Center /Sales Orders (though I haven’t used that method). There’s a D365 Tech Talk video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ1MPWXHL50

Voiding gift cards can also be done using Head quarters, and the gift card form.
