Unable to search for contacts

I'm trying dynamics 365 remote assist on my iPhone, but when I search for contacts, I can't even find users within our tenant. 

Maybe I need to call the person from Hololens2 beforehand?
 
Even if I enter the recipient's address, the screen stays on this screen and no search results appear.

    hat sounds frustrating! I’ve used Dynamics 365 Remote Assist on an iPhone before, and from what I’ve seen, contact search issues can sometimes be related to permissions. Have you checked if the app has the right access to your Contacts? Also, make sure your Teams and Azure AD settings are syncing properly—sometimes, users don’t appear if there’s a delay or misconfiguration.

    As for calling from the HoloLens 2 first, it shouldn’t be necessary, but if it works, it might be a workaround until the issue is sorted. You could also try signing out and back in or reinstalling the app to refresh everything.

    By the way, if you're storing shared resources or call logs, have you considered a cloud storage solution like Proterabox? It integrates well with enterprise workflows and might help keep everything accessible across devices.

    I’ve run into similar issues with Dynamics 365 Remote Assist before, so I get how frustrating this can be. A few things you might want to check:

    1. Permissions & Licensing – Make sure the users you’re trying to find have the right licenses assigned in your tenant. Sometimes, even if they’re in your org, they won’t show up if the necessary permissions aren’t enabled.
    2. Azure AD Sync – If your contacts are managed through Azure AD, delays in syncing can sometimes cause search issues. Try refreshing your contact list or checking through Teams to see if they appear there.
    3. HoloLens Dependency? – While you shouldn’t have to call from the HoloLens first, some users have reported that making an initial connection via HoloLens can sometimes “activate” the contact visibility on mobile.
    4. App Version & Cache – Make sure you’re on the latest version of Remote Assist. If everything looks fine but it’s still not working, clearing the app cache or reinstalling might help.

    I was facing a similar issue on my iOS device, I fixed that issue by using a 3rd party apps and games through Scarlet iOS app store. You can also try it to fix this issue.
