PPAC -Service update failure during update in D365FO

Hi team,
 
 
With continue on the above link, I would like to know if we worked on PPAC instead of LCS, then where will check the status , log etc 
 
Now I worked on LCS but in sometime we needs to work on PPAC.
 
Pls advise, thanks
