ReportReport

Hi all,

The document sending profile has been defaulted as Email. If the required email message is as below, so that customer account, SO number, Due date, currency and total amount are vary every time. How do we set up an email message like this?

Thanks.

This can be configured through Report Selections - Sales.

    1. Open Report Selections - Sales.
    2. Select the relevant Usage, for example Order.
    3. Add/select the Sales Order report.
    4. Enable Use for Email Body.
    5. Create a custom Word layout for that report and select it in Email Body Layout Description.
    6. Add the required fields from the report dataset, such as Customer No., Order No., Due Date, Currency Code, and Total Amount

Business Central will then generate the email body dynamically for each sales order.

The Document Sending Profile controls how the document is sent, while the custom Word email-body layout is used to populate variable document values in the email message.
