Best Way to Integrate Customers Into CRM

Hello, I wanted to see if I could get some help with my company's transition into using CRM. We have recently begun using CRM to track current customers and opportunities but have not added previous information into the software. I am with a commercial HVAC and plumbing company, and the end goal is to have the YTD totals for maintenance customers and project sales. I know I can add each customer individually, but that would take an extensive amount of time to complete. Is there an easier way to add the information by importing files and other documents into the CRM? Thank you and please let me know if you have a solution for this request.

    Hi There,

Yes, open your application, go to contact table and download the template.
An excel template will be downloaded. Extract the customer details from the current system and move it over to the new downloaded template.

Once that is done go back to contacts table and select  'import from excel'. An upload that new file and all your customer information will be moved into Dynamics.

If your customers are companies you can do the same process by going into the accounts table.

I have made a video on my YouTube channel which shows the step by step process of importing customers to Dynamics.

Finally, once your issue is resolved and my suggested answer has helped, please do not forget to click Yes under "Did this answer your question?" to close this thread.

    Thanks
