Project Operations Lite - how to update Paid Expenses to add to new Project Contract

Hello,

Currently, users were working from a project where there was a quote in place but not close as won, so there was no project contract record. Expenses were approved, so acutals have been created but since there were no project contract (order) at the time; there were no unbilled sales created. The expenses were already paid, so how can we modify the actuals for paid expenses and add them to the project contract to invoice the customer?

A workaround, we created one journal entry to include the total of expenses that were paid,  but the customer would like to see a break down of the expenses in the invoice we send out.

Is there a way to include or update paid expenses to add to the contract after expense have already been paid? Looks like we couldn't make the update because of the system

    Hi,
You could explore the possibility of manually adding the paid expenses to the project contract. This may involve using a project adjustment journal to associate the expenses with the contract. However, since the system may restrict updates to paid expenses, a workaround would be to reverse the paid transactions and then re-post them under the project contract.
