Scenario:
I have a Product Kit where one substitute item is inactive. I cannot remove it from the Kit configuration due to the error: "Variants are already generated for the kit..."
Attempted Solution:
I set "Blocked at register" = Yes for that item and successfully ran many distribution jobs (1040, 1070, 1090, 1100, 1130).
Issue:
On Store Commerce (POS), the item still appears and is selectable in the Kit configuration dialog. The cashier can still sell it without any block.
Questions:
- Does "Blocked at register" work for Kit substitutes, or only for direct sales?
- Why does the POS ignore this flag despite full sync? (Note: "Date blocked" is set, but should it be immediate?)
- Is there any other standard way to hide or sign an inactive substitute without creating a new Kit? (
It will help our cashiers avoid selecting inactive items, preventing potential back-office errors)
