Reporting in PPAC showing usage per user in CE environment

ReportReport

Hello, is there a report or method to get reporting on each user "that uses Dynamics" in a live environment withing PPAC? I know we have license usage reporting for F&O, but is there one for CE?

Thanks

    Hi,

Currently, there is no such report. I asked Microsoft to extend the current F&O reporting, as some users are now listed as being overlicensed on Project Operations where the users are actually using the core deployment on CE.

Anyway, for a user to be able to use a CE app, a license is already required to be assigned as the enforcement is active for a long time on the CE side.

    Hi,

I think there is a report in the M365 admin center where you can check the licenses for CE. Would be of course great to have it in one place like PPAC.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi,

As others have pointed, unfortunately there is no user usage reporting in PPAC for CE.

However, if your requirement is to get the user usage report on live environment then you could use "Get Last Login for Users" tool in XRMToolBox to generate your own report and compare it against the licensed users to know who are using the system and who are not. This would need Audit user access to be enabled.

You could get this data into power automate as well and automate the reporting based on your needs.

    Regards,
    Neeraj Pawar
