How to apply color to columns in view

Hello,

In Dynamic 365 online, I have a view that contains a read only table. Depending on the value of the column, how do I use JavaScript to update the background color?

I was able to grab the values using JSON.parse(rowData) and create some switch cases but am not able to get the color to change. Tried using some articles but they may be out of date. Thanks for any help!
