Dear all,

When I run a project invoice from Microsoft I have the options to select the legal entity and the specific project invoice I want to run:

I created my own format, however, when I want to run it it doesnt show the options as above.
I can set up the print options and create a project invoice via ER from the user perspective. However, for testing purposes, I d like to use the run button from the ER configuration.
What am i missing?

Thanks in advance, Adis

    Hi Adis,

When using a Business Document (BD), the system redirects you through an action function to view or print the document. If you need to run document printing in batch, you would need to consider customizing the process by creating a periodic job. This job can be configured to run in batch mode using a specific ER configuration or a form already linked to an ER configuration, enabling automated report generation and printing.

As a workaround, you can evaluate to run it via ER as soon as there is archiving method already defined on ER destination for the config.

    Hi Alireza,

I am sorry, I dont understand your answer and think there is a misunderstanding from my question.

When I select my format and click on the "RUN" button, I dont have the options "Record to include" for the legal entity or the project invoice. However, selecting the format from MS, I do have these options.

I also created (derived) formats in the last months and I do have the option to filter by legal entity and project invoice. I dont understand what I need to do in order to be able to filter by a specific project invoice and run the ER format.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi,
If you are using a custom model, it’s possible that custom model mappings are causing the issue. In that case, you’ll need to troubleshoot the model mapping associated with your custom project invoice.
In this case, I believe the filter is specific to the standard configuration Project invoice (Excel) with InvoiceProject as the model mapping. When a derived model mapping is applied, this record filter may be deactivated. This could be due to settings like "Integration point" or "Ask for query" being activated on the Table or Table Records nodes within the model mapping. Following screenshot can elaborate better where standard and custom has different base mapping.
