To customize the dynamic email's subject and content in workflow

I have faced an issue that the email's subject and content is dynamic in workflow.
 
1. if the checkbox field, for example, urgency, is turned 'Yes', the mail notification in workflow will be
 
subject: (Urgent) xxxx
Content: It is in urgency....
 
Otherwise,
subject: xxxxx
Content: .....
 
Does the email notification have IF function in workflow?  for example: IF(%Urgent% ="Yes, "(Urgent)", "") xxxxx

    You need to use conditional descision in WF.

    Out of the box there is no option to use e.g. functions or expressions. To avoid too many conditions in your flow, you can consider creating a virtual field that will be exposed by the workflow class. This is like a display method. In this method you can write all logic or load data from a configuration table to return an email subject.

    Hi,
    I agree with André that this requirement needs to be addressed through customization. As mentioned, you can achieve this by extending the workflow class
