I purchased Dynamics 365 Sales Professional 3 days ago. It is not showing up in my business aps so we have no way to access the application. I can see the trial version that we originally tried but not the actual purchased version. Is there something I need to do? Do I need to delete the trial version somehow? It would be good to still have the trial version as well so that we can see how data is setup in the trial to guide us. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Hi,
You should follow this documentation to achieve what you need:
Provision your Dynamics 365 Sales Professional environment (Dynamics 365 Sales Professional) | Microsoft Docs

Welcome to this amazing community.
Kenneth, I ended up talking with support and they walked me through it. It is exactly what you have sent me. I provisioned a new environment that I now use as my Production environment. Thank you so much for sending this information! I hope this helps others who have the same problem. I really appreciate your time and effort to send this.
Thanks,
Eric
I'm having the exact same issue, only I've followed the documentation linked carefully and I'm not seeing the app in my app launcher, just test apps. Could I ask who you contacted for support, I'm struggling to get a response. Thank you!
Hello Nick,
I went through the same thing. You do not need to delete the trial version to see your newly provisioned environment. I thought that as well. There is a place to see all of your environments - I've just started all this and so I can't seem to find it right now. I will post again when I find where you can find all of your environments. Once you find all your environments, the Dynamics help person had me create bookmarks so that I can go directly to my production instance, my sandbox instance, and the trial (like you said it is nice to see the sample data - interestingly the sample data is even in the newly created production environment but there is a way to delete it at the beginning).
Let me figure out how to get to the environments and I'll post for you. ==> update. Go to this link (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-professional/provision-sales-professional-instance) This link was given in the "Step 1: Provision your environment" in the setup email. It shows you how to get to the list of your environments. When you see the list of your environments, you can click the ellipses, and select open environment. Then you can bookmark it. I don't know why my production environment never showed up in my Business Apps but now I just use bookmarks.
I really hope this helps.
I think you need to log an issue to have them work on it. I really struggled with logging a ticket because there were so many categories and I'd choose the wrong one because it wasn't obvious to me where to go.
They told me in the future when logging Dynamics 365 tickets for Sales, use "Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement" under Application and Add-ons: Sales App.
The person I spoke with was excellent
