    Hi,

    Yes, it is possible.

    Follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings -> Customization -> Customize the System.
    • Expand Entities tab and click on Letter entity.
    • Click on Forms.
    • Open Letter form.

    • Add a new section (or you may use an existing section).
    • On the ribbon, click on Insert tab.
    • Click on Timeline (this will add timeline control to the form).

    • Save and Publish the form.
    • Create or Open a Letter, now you can add attachments in Notes (timeline).

    Hope, this solves the problem.

    Hi partner,

In addition to Wahaj's solution, you can enable Document management for Letter entity to add attachments in SharePoint site.

Please refer to this thread to understand the benefits of adding attachments to sharepoint: https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/microsoft-dynamics-crm-forum/370484/store-documents-in-notes-or-sharepoint

First we need to integrate D365 with SharePoint, then enable Document management for Letter entity.

Read these documentation to know steps.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/set-up-dynamics-365-online-to-use-sharepoint-online

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/enable-sharepoint-document-management-specific-entities

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2gqVxC7ofU

Go to Advanced Settings > Document Managements > Document Management Settings, select Letter entity.

In the Letter form, click Related tab and click Documents, here we can update attachments to SharePoint site. Existing files will also be displayed here.
