Issue with pagination, nextLink is null in OData API

Hello Experts,

I'm facing an issue in pagination in JS getting data from Dynamics, I'm trying with contacts, I have more than 3000 contacts in Dynamics, and I'm using the following API

https://OrgName.api.crm.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.1/contacts?$top=20&$count=true

nextLink is always null in the API response, I'm also adding the following in the header

Prefer: "odata.include-annotations=*

I don't know why I'm not getting the nextLink in the API response.

"$top=20" is designed for limit the row count not the page size. For paging, you can use the header "Prefer: odata.maxpagesize=2". Mode detail here.
