    Hi Fariha,

    Thank you for your question.

UTM tracking is not supported at this moment in Marketing, but we consider this as a potential functionality to be added in the future.

Until then, please do take a look at what manual adjustments other Forum members have done and shared around this topic.

    Best regards,

    Defne

    Hi,

Is there any update regarding this functionality ?

In the meantime, would it be possible to create a custom contact field that would be fed with UTM parameters in the URL ?

Thanks a lot for your help

I can absolutely recommend this UTM Marketing Integration for Google Analytics. See link below:

    Hi Emil,

    Thank you for your answer.

This could help indeed, but this is not what I'm looking for.

Actually, I would like to have the possibility to have a field for leads that would tell me the referring traffic source.

Let's say I'm running a campaign with LinkedIn Ads, and redirecting people to my site with UTM parameters in the URL.

When they convert by filling the form (created with 365) or subscribes to the newsletter, it would be good to have a field with that UTM source populated, so I can retarget in a more effective way by only selecting people coming from that LinkedIn campaign.

Right now, I don't now where leads are coming from, whether it's organic or paid advertising

If you go to the Details tab on the lead, are you not able to see the source?

Otherwise, you can create a field named "UTM source" or whatever you want it to be named.

Then when you create the Lead form, you can create a new form field and add it as a hidden field with the UTM source info prefilled.

Every lead that comes from that particular form will then have that info in the field.

    Makes sense? :)

I don't see the source unfortunately.

I like the idea of creating a field but te problem is that I will not be able to identify other traffic sources.

If this page is visited by people from Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads, by prefilling the hidden field I will have wrong results then.

If I create prefilled hidden fields, I have to make a landing page for each traffic source then.

Do you get what I mean ?

    Yeah, I see your issue.

I think this could be fixed by using some type of code in the form that fetches the URL and then places that data into the field. I'm not of any more help than that though :)

Or perhaps the Redirect URL is made for this purpose? I haven't really used it myself though, so I am a bit unsure. Please check this post below and let me know if this fixes your issue

We already use the redirect URL to drive visitors to a generic "thank you" page once the form is submitted.

Maybe I would have to ask the dev to create special queries in that redirect URL, that would fetch the UTM parameters from the first page.

I think the code inside the form that fetches the URL is some sort of solution here, but I'm not able to work on it as well.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions :)
