Hi I have a requirement to Map MultiOptionSet from one Entity Case to a child entity Web Application using power automate.

I ensured the option set are exactly the same , I have mapped in Power Automate but its returning null.

Thanks the Get row ID solved the Issue ..I always use get row ID if am trying to get records from other entity than the one the power automate trigger is working on.

I didn't have to use global option set thou but I understand its best practice. But the field has already been created.

But just adding that row ID works thanks, trying to mark this has the verified answer but not seeing the option yet.

    Hi Adeyemi,

Maybe you can add one 'Get a row by ID' step before 'Add a new row '.

    (1)Get a row by ID

    (2) Add a new row

The areas should be filled with value from 'Get a row by ID' step.

Also, i have used global option set to the MultiOption Set Field-Areas.

Global option sets are useful when you have a standard set of categories that can apply to more than one entity. Maintaining two separate option sets with the same values is difficult and if they are not synchronized you can see errors, especially if you are mapping entity fields in a one-to-many entity relationship.

Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System > Option Sets to create New.

Then expand Entities to find Case entity and Web Application, click Fields to create new.

In the field editor, select Yes for Use Existing Option Set.
