    Hi Sarani,
I think you can easily figure it out.

You need to set-up appointment rules.  You need at least one

Here are articles on how to use:

Here are the different menus to create an appointment:

     From Transportation Management module:

From Outbound Load Planning workbench. Note that the selected Load ID with dates will automatically default in the Reference FastTab of the Appointment:

From Load list page or Load Details form.

The rest of the process is explained in the articles included above.  Basically, after creation you need to change the status to firm (to indicate that transporter is aware).  If you use Driver Check-In / Check-out, go through that process.

    Good luck!

    Hi

Below is the high-level process flow to help you.

    Configuration needed as below

1 - Appointment Rule - Appointment rules are Docks on which you will provide appointments. Carefully take decision on max number of appointments / docks, max duration and direction (Inbound and outbound) A company may have dedicated docks to handle inbound loads and outbound loads. So this master will take care of you dock locations.
2 - Shipping Carrier - In the transportation module make sure to update all Carrier master.
3 - Appointment ID number sequence - Setup the appointment ID number sequence in transportation management module.
4 _ If you want to register exact time when Driver checks in and checks out you need configure mobile device menu items for both. One menu for Driver checks in and one menu for driver check out in the warehouse management module. Alternatively, you can also do this from the Driver check in check out form in transportation management module.
5 - Now operation stuff - Create Sales, purchase and transfer orders and add them loads. (or you can automate load creation from warehouse management parameters) From the load planning workbench form (Inbound and outbound) generate appointment scheduling. Select date and time, Carrier, Appointment rule. Initially appointments are tentative and after carrier confirms and commits to the date and time for loading / unloading you change the status to firm.
6 - Now on the day of loading perform driver check in
7 - Perform warehouse operations depending upon the load type (Sales, purchase or transfer)
8 - Perform driver check out
