Is there any MS Hotfix which can solve this problem in EU sales list form?

In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, Organization administration > Periodic > Foreign trade > EU sales list, when user clicks Transfer button Transfer transactions for EU sales list form is opened. After clicking Transfer button this error is shown:

"Cannot edit a record in Customer invoice journal (CustInvoiceJour).
An update conflict occurred due to another user process deleting the record or changing one or more fields in the record."

I think that this error is shown because one record is updated twice in this table and AX fails to update the RecVersion field. To solve this one line has to be added in \Classes\EUSalesListTransfer\loadFromCustInvoiceJour (line 31): custInvoiceJour.reread();

reread method insures that correct RecVersion is used and the error is not shown anymore.

I was wondering whether there's a Microsoft Hotfix that solves this issue?

I cannot see a hotfix for that error with EU Sales List on LCS. I can find two hotfixes which affect the method you mention, but neither appear to be related to your problem. They are KB2835531 and KB2893161.

I have the exact same problem and our users reported it last week. First time. We are on AX 2012 R3 CU7.

No I have not and didn't plan on it. Adding the 'reread' statement did resolve our issue.

i think there is no hotfix exist yet,

go with the solution you already mentioned in post add custInvoiceJour.reread(); before custInvoiceJour.doupdate() method

You should report the bug, otherwise there is no assurance it be addressed in current or future versions of the product. This way all affected users benefit.

Thank you all for the answers. I already reported it, turns out there is no existing Hotfix for this but this problem has been reported before to Microsoft. They provided some workarounds. The simplest and easiest one was the same solution which I mentioned in my post.

Follow-up to my post - The code mod allowed me to generate the IC listing for the end-user. They reviewed it and reported they found a duplicate record in the list. So the problem could have been a data problem all along and not the code. The code change actually allowed a duplicate record to get in the list. Either way, I plan to leave the code mod in. Sorry for the delay in responding.

I can also confirm that the above proposed solution caused double records in EU sales list for the problematic invoices. I am still looking for the solution.
