Missing Modules while trying to deploy ADP package

We created a single deployable packaage containing all our customization from our VM to be deployed on SAT.

but we still keep getting error message

"The selected package is missing the following modules that are currently deployed on your environment. You must create an all-in-one deployable package that

contains all your code customizations and ISV solutions". Listing just 2 modules as missing in the deployable package but they are part of the deployable package;

We have checked the following;

  • Model version is thesame
  • Platform version is thesame as all other modules present in the package
  • the model names is thesame with the current model in SAT.

Now that we have to use ADP. How do we solve the issue where the SAT is not recognising these two modules as part of the ADP.

Is there a way to switch of the ADP check for now and we deploy just the model we want?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Matthew,

    Can you explain your definitions of the abbreviations ADP and SAT?

    Is ADP related to the the HR and Payroll vendor (https://www.adp.com/)?

    SAT is a definition for a test environment?

    You mention that there are two models reported to be missing, but they are part of your deployable package? If so, which exact models? Did you create a deployable package from Visual Studio or using the build server? The build server is the recommended approach.

    Thanks

    All in one deployable Package (ADP)

    Sandbox environment (Yes the test environment)

    I created the deployable package from Visual studio. I do not have all this modules in a single project on Version control.

    Hi Matthew,

    It will be highly recommended to use the method as described in the documentation: docs.microsoft.com/.../manage-runtime-packages

    What exact models is the deployment stuck on? So, which models are missing? Are they your custom models, ISV models/binaries or standard Microsoft models?

    Hi Matthew,

    As per below ADP article, per my udnerstanding, ADP deployment is not mandatory for now till end of this Oct. So in your case is it a warning message which you can choose to ignore and proceed with the deployment, or you can NOT proceed with your ADP?

    Hi Matthew,

    To answer exactly your question "Is there a way to switch of the ADP check for now and we deploy just the model we want?"

    Yes, you can delay this check by creating the Microsoft support request from LCS.

    To resolve this the issue of ADP missing 2 modules,  you need to follow MS documentation site docs.microsoft.com/.../manage-runtime-packages

    you can also create support ticket if you are facing issues as they can actually look into your environments and resolve/guide for the resolution.

    Hi Matthew,

    How did you check that your deployable package contains all models (for LCS or you used another environment or something else)? Sometimes source code for a model can be pushed without description and it's not necessary causing compile issues, but can make a feeling that all models are in place (in source control).

    We cannot proceed without it.

    This is visible from LCS. When we checked the component details of the deployable package we could find the models that were not recognised listed.

    We might have to opt for this for now. thanks
