Upgrade analyzer report tell that partition and virtual companies exists

Hi experts,

I want to upgrade a Dynamics AX 2012 R2 environment to Dynamics 365. After running the upgrade analyzer, the report tell me that partition and virtual companies exists for the environment and therefore the upgrade is not possible.

Virtual companies were presents but were deleted before running the analyzer.
Partition "Initial Partition" was present but was deleted before running the analyzer.
See screen shots for partition and virtual companies account.

Why the analyzer is still telling me that the upgrade wont be possible as Partition and virtual companies does not exists anymore.

Will the upgrade data step gonna run successfully?

Error message:
Dynamics 365 for Operations does not support multiple partitions. This rule has identified multiple partitions exist in the AX2012 environment. This means that upgrade to Dynamics 365 for Operations is not possible.

Most likely the issue is that your data is not in the default "initial" partition. If your data is on some other partition, I can imagine that the upgrade will not work. I suggest you contact Microsoft support on this matter.

I'm experiencing the same thing.  Our environment does not have virtual companies nor multiple partitions.  The only partition is the "initial" partition, and no changes were made to the partitions, nor were any virtual companies ever created.

These appear to be the result of some bug in the upgrade reporting tool, as far as I can tell.

Anyone from Microsoft read these forums?  Can you clue us in on why these red herrings are showing up in the upgrade analysis report?
