Address Data - retaining line breaks while exporting to CSV

When we extract our address data from our system and export to excel the cell appears to show as a concatenated value i.e. 111 Joe Bloggs StreetErdington but if you click on the cell it does show as

111 Joe Bloggs Street

Erdington

We have tried a suggestion of placing "" around the values but this results in separating the values into separate rows on the csv flat file we need to load and therefore causing errors when loaded into D365

Is there anyway of retaining the values within one cell but that when the flat file is loaded into D365 it recognises line breaks/carriage returns?

Hope that makes sense, any help much appreciated!

Hi Woodsy1980,

You can choose to use e.g. an Excel file as source or replacing the returns with '\n'. This is a new line indication in x++.
