Does anyone have any suggestions on training in GP Fixed Assets? I am an intermediate user (self designated, lol) and need a better understanding of how GP works. I hope to eliminate some of the issues we go to the third party consulting group. If I could understand how the tables/fields communicate maybe I will be more efficient, hopefully. Thank you
fortunately Fixed Assets is super easy. once you are done with Adding the assets all you need is just 3 easy steps to process the Depreciation on a schedule you decide like monthly, quarterly or yearly
I wish I shared your optimism - I find GP FA difficult and not friendly. If it were just a matter of running depreciation, it would be easy but there are so many issues. For example, we have a whole group of assets that depreciated past a zero NBV, so they all have negative NBV's. Thank you for your feedback and one day, I may agree.
