Removing an extra entity option from lookup field when creating a new record

Hello,

I hope someone may be able to stir me in the right direction.

I have a lookup field on my Contacts form, which works perfectly well and allows you picking an organisation to associate with a contact. However, when clicking on "+ New Record" to add a new record, it asks to select a record type to create:

Is it possible to stop "Contacts" from appearing in the list and only keep "Accounts"? If that is not possible, is there a way to rename "Accounts" to "Organisations" when it comes to the lookup field?

Many thanks,

Alex

    Hello Alex,

    In order to remove "contact" from the list of available entities you can develop a simple script using setEntityTypes - learn.microsoft.com/.../setentitytypes

    It might look like the following:

    function opportunityOnLoad(executionContext){

    var formContext = exeuctionContext.getFormContext();

    formContext.getControl("customerid").setEntityTypes(["account"]);

    }

    Having a doubt.

    If we want only the contact records, then why it should be customer field lookup. we can remove it and have only the account lookup field rite, instead of implementing this js script.
