Notification Bell Icon

Hello,

I found a thread where this is talked about but I could not see a clear conclusion about this.

In the upper right of any page on Business Central, there is an icon of a BELL (with the caption of "Notifications") between "Tell me" and "Settings".

When clicked, a pane opens up from left to right, but I have never seen any notification in here.

How is this notification area used or how can we use it for notifications?

Thank you for your advice.

I have the same question (0)

I mean... opens up from "right to left"...

As it isn’t used in a BC context I don’t think I final result was found. I would think it is more to do with Microsoft 365 than Dynamics

    Hello,

This is being used by the product group for sending out notifications if needed. Official answers from the product group:

Bell icon is used for notifications. Currently, it is only used for marketing notifications

I never saw this being used either.

    Thanks.

    Thank you, Josh.

It is not really for Business Central use. That makes sense.

    Thank you, Marco.

"marketing notification", I first wondered what this has to do with Business Central Marketing features.

But later understood that this is used for "Microsoft product marketing" purposes. It makes perfect sense.
