I cannot find documentation on how to interpret stats under "Marketing Effectiveness Analytics."

I would like to know what the "Effectiveness Score" is measuring.

I have the same question (0)

Please be aware that the Marketing Effectiveness Dashboard will be deprecated, according this article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-insights/journeys/removed-deprecated-features#features-removed-or-deprecated-in-february-2025.

    Hello BJ-20051632-0,

The functionality that you are looking for is removed by Microsoft by Feb 2025. Refer https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-insights/journeys/removed-deprecated-features#features-removed-or-deprecated-in-february-2025 for more details.

Meanwhile, I am sharing my understanding about the Effectiveness Score.

here are some common marketing metrics that could be rolled into such a score:

    • Conversion Rates: Did contacts complete the goal of the journey (e.g., purchase, sign-up, form submission)? Higher conversion rates would likely increase the effectiveness score.

    • Engagement Metrics: How did contacts interact with the marketing activities within the journey? This could include:

      • Email Open Rates: Higher opens might indicate more relevant content or targeting.

      • Email Click-Through Rates (CTR): Clicks show interest and engagement with the email content.

      • SMS Click-Through Rates: Similar to email CTR for SMS messages.

      • Form Submissions: If the journey includes forms, submissions are a key engagement metric.

      • Website Visits: If the journey drives traffic to a website, those visits might be tracked.

    • Reach: How many unique contacts were reached by the journey?

    • Cost Efficiency (Potentially): In some advanced effectiveness calculations, the cost associated with the journey might be factored in (e.g., cost per conversion). However, this might be less likely for a general "Effectiveness Score."

    • Lead Scoring (If applicable): If the journey contributes to lead scoring, higher average lead scores of contacts within the journey could indicate effectiveness.
