I want to know the opening and closing stock of an item and receipt again the vendor

this report helps to get the details of the items purchased from the specified vendor for the specified
period
Need to have opening and closing stock details also
There is no such report available.
I do not even know how you would design such a report because the opening and closing stock details do not depend on a specific vendor unless you have a warehouse for each of your vendors.
Can you let us know how you want to determine the opening and closing stock details?
My requirement is similar to combination of the below 2 reports
1. inventory status report ( China report)
2. Vendor / Item statistics
The main aim to know the Purchase of items from a vendor over a specified period, with opening and closing stock of the respective item across all warehouse
I see.
And your job is to develop a new report similar to what is used in these two reports, right?
What is it that you expect exactly from the community in this regards?
How to create this report or a code sample or something else?

As I am not a developer I cannot really help you much with the code.

... this is right
It depends on the period that is selected what opening or closing balance are calculated (e.g. month, quarter, years...)
