I am trying to edit one of the Microsoft provided GER Configurations. It is the Reconciliation Configuration am having problems moving values that already exist in the excel file. I can delete ranges in the excel file, but when I move cells, they no longer populate, even if the cell name remains. How do I re-attach moved cells that already existed in the template?

Hi Seeking solutions,

In case you need to make changes to the configuration, you would need to create a new provider and copy the GER configuration to your provider. Then you can make configuration changes in the electronic reporting template.

I have done that, and I can edit the data map, model, etc. It's just that when say, I move "Date and time" both value and label to another cell, row and even if i update it in the format model, it no longer populates where it has been placed and all I see is the label.

Hi,
Please ensure that the cell is correctly defined using the Name Manager in Excel.

Pro Tip:
If you need to move a field within the same range in Excel, it’s effective to use Cut/Paste. This approach allows you to move labels seamlessly within the Excel file.
