How many activities can we create in customer insight?

Hi,

How many activities can we create in customer insight?

we have noticed that as we create activities, we need to create new relationship for each activity (CI does not allow us to use existing relationships) this creates multiple relationship path while creating in segmentation as you see in attached image. Is there any way  to use the existing relationship while creating the activities? As it becomes harder to find the right relationship path while doing the segmentation.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mahesh

I don't think there's a limit set.  You can have quite a few although personally I don't think we've ever gotten above like 20.  But each Activity needs it's own relationship, that's the only way that the computations can be done correctly.  If I'm seeing it right, it looks like you have relationships setup between the Customer entities, so I think the issue you're having is more of a feature than a bug, b/c a segment could take different paths.

May I ask, how many activity entities do you plan on pulling in total? If you can just quickly name the customer entities and activity entities I may be of more help, i'll try at least.  Thanks,

    Bill

    Hi Bill,

Thanks. Yes, you are right, I have created relationship with customer entity whenever possible (e.g. Contact to Customer, Delegate to Customer, Newsletter to Customer etc.  I am planning to have 12 activities at the moment and I think that I need to create 12 tables  from 6 entities in power query to create activities (to apply necessary filters).  I have the list of activities in the attached image. Does this make sense? (I will be including activities entities from the list below and merge table and apply filter to create the activities.
