Trial Customer Service Professional

We are developing a custom solution and considering buying a license for Customer Service Professional for the staging environment.

How can we create an environment with the same limitations as Customer Service Professional package? When we reset the sandbox, it's still not empty, having various apps and solutions.

What does the "limited" customization on the comparison chart of "Customer Service Professional vs Enterprise" actually mean?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,

Limited does not mean a pure environment(empty, without any OOB component).

Although professional has fewer features than enterprise, but there are still many default applications and solutions in it.

This blog post the summaries about  the difference between enterprise and professional.

I also checked the Dynamics 365 License guide, and is says that enterprise has two more application add-on:

    Chat for Customer Service

    Digital Messaging

You can consult Microsoft pre-sales consultant for more information.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

Thanks Leo. Now we need to have a similar environment so we can be sure our solution and plugins will work on that subscription. Would it be enough if the solution works on a sandbox which has been reset with no options selected to reinstall any app?

    Hi partner,

What's the license of the instance you want to reset?

You could compare the original instance with customer service professional and check will their differences affect the operation of the plug-in (business).

Please feel free to let me konw if my understanding is not correct.

    Best Regards,

    Leo

    Hi Leo,

Yes, you're correct. In the end we'll need to remove solutions which are not included in the CS Pro subscription. Unfortunately we don't know which solutions customer service professional will have. We're currently getting support from the sales for this issue.

    Thanks for the tips :)
