Event Registration Email

Hi there,

we created our first event but the problem is that we need a confirmation email. Using a customer journey is not a good solution as it takes more than 2 hours until the email will be send. Why does it take so long?

What we need is a direct confirmation email.

    You could check whether time zone field of the customer journey was set to your own time zone.

    This is a standard for marketing conversions and for events.

    Hi Tobias,

    For example, if I live in Helsinki, I set the customer journey start date and time to 9:15 AM, while time zone of the customer journey is set to (GMT) Coordinated Universal Time, 

    as a result, I have to wait until 11:15 AM for the customer journey to start and send marketing emails.

    If I change the field to (GMT+2:00) Helsinki, then marketing email will be sent to contacts within 1-3 minutes.

    Try to adjust it to your own time zone to test again.

    it is set so Berlin Amsterdam and we are based in Bonn (Germany). Also in general settings

    Could you share a screenshot of your customer journey?

    In addition, check whether there is delay notification for your customer journey likes screenshot below:

    Hi Tobias,

    I find that you are using marketing form tile (would it be an event registration type marketing form?) as the starting point of customer journey.

    Please build an event registration based segment to send confirmation email to contacts instead.(We can select the OOB Registered for event template to create it quickly.)

    There are some issues with the customer journey using the marketing form or marketing page as a starting point, which have been reported by other users in the forum.

    Try to create such segment and add it to a new customer journey to test again, then adding a new event registration in portal to check whether contact could receive email within several minutes.

    Iried this too. Registrations works but I didn't receive my email.

    Hi Tobias,

    From your screenshot, the starting point is Event tile(Ereignis) instead of Segment tile.

    Please change the starting point to Segment and select the segment that I described in my previous reply, then test again.
