All company information and history lost

Good Day,
We have licenses for Business Central and some other areas of Dynamics via MPN. Last year I set up one company entirely including banking information, and have a history of quotes and transactional data. When logging into Business Central now only Cronus and My Company show in the companies list, and further when I start to recreate the lost company it refers to the activity as a trial - making me wonder if the entitlement is recognized (not to mention that I'd prefer not to redo all the setup work). No one here is experienced on the Dynamics platform, having used it for just that one bit of activity last year. Does anyone have suggestions as to whether the previous information might be recoverable, and also how to assure we don't lose it if we set up again?
Thanks!
RM

    Hi RM,

It sounds like your original company might have been in a trial or sandbox environment that has since expired or been removed. That’s why only Cronus and My Company appear now.

    I'd suggest:

Checking the Business Central Admin Center to see if the old environment still exists (maybe as expired).

Verifying your MPN license entitlements and whether they’re still assigned properly.

If it was a trial, unfortunately data may not be recoverable unless backed up.

To avoid this in the future, make sure you're working in a production environment and regularly back up or export your setup/config.

    Hope this helps!

@Zain Mehmood you are correct. I found the environment and saw that it was in a soft delete state for a period of time and then unfortunately deleted permanently. I'm still unsure if the second effort to create a company will stick. In the M365 admin center I see the following licenses for the billing admin identity:
And in the roles for the user I have:

Microsoft's licensing guidance seems to say that if the user has the correct entitlements it will flow through to the instance and take it out of trial status. How can I verify that is so? I don't see this information in Business Central itself.
