Licensing Profit Margin for Partners for Dynamics GP

Was there any change to the licensing profit margin that partners are given for Dynamics GP? If so, does anyone know where to find documentation on that? If not, does anyone have any documentation on what makes up the profit margin? We noticed that our next upcoming invoice, the profit margin was significantly lower.

    Our experience is that Microsoft has stopped all partner communications regarding GP unless it is to tell us to move happy GP customers to BC. 

    If you dig deep in PartnerSource Business Center, you'll see margins changed.  If you dig even deeper, you may find a notice about it.  (I heard about it in an ISV webinar last year.  I did a little digging back then but don't recall how I actually found it.  I think it may have been delayed a few months from the original announcement.)

    Thank goodness we have Terry at Microsoft and the partner channel.

    Hi,
     

    Please ask your partner about the Bridge to Cloud 2 program. They offer a discount for on-premises GP customers who switch to Business Central, which I believe is between 30% and 40%.

    You’ll need to verify program eligibility and other details with the partner.
