How can I read a file from SFTP, retrieve the data from that file, and process it in D365 F&O X++?
Could you please guide on how to read a file from SFTP using x++.
I'd appreciate any insights or experiences you can share to help me with this.
Thank you!

It depends on the contents of the file, but I would start by looking at Logic Apps or Power Automate to pick up your file from SFTP.

What you do with the file after that depends on what is in there, but I would guess you need some kind of import.

We implemented this using the Azure Logic Apps as the X++ customization would be complex and costly.

We can achieve this requirement with 3 option:

    2. Create your own dll using C# and refer it in x++ if there are complexity requirement like using SSH/private key.
    3. Using Azure Logic apps or Power automate to get the file content from the SFTP and consume the file content using odata action or customer service in D365. (RECOMMENDED)
