Export / Import Change Log Setup

Hello dear community,

I have the following challenge and I am surprised that, according to my research, there is still no feature for this in the standard:
Everyone knows that it is quite tedious to do the change log setup.
Now I have to do this setup in two companies in the same database and I would like to transfer the setup from one company to the other (I would even prefer to export the existing setup from NAV18 and transfer it to BC, but that is certainly even less possible).

Unfortunately, this is not possible with RapidStart.

How do you solve this?

BC-Version: 23.8.20231.0

Best regards from Hamburg

    Hello KasparsS.,
Thank you very much for your very quick reply! I have managed to do it.
I was probably barking up the wrong tree here.
I was only able to determine the system tables in the 2 billion range using the zoom and those can't be used in RapidStart.
Have a good start to the week and best regards

I have done this using RapidStart without any problems.
What is the issue You are facing?

In configuration package You need to include table 403 and 404.
402 if you want to activate it as well, but the checkmark can be placed manually.
First You need to import the table 403 - the Some Fields or All fields values in the table list.
Then you can import table 404 values - for specific fields.

Also exporting from NAV 2018 and importing in BC is possible.
If you encounter any problems directly, You can export to Excel from NAV 2018, then create manually the same package in BC, export to excel - and just copy/paste the columns from NAV2018 excel to the new BC excel file.
