Copilot Sidecar capability in D365 FO is not accessible

Hi Experts,

Getting below message when selecting Copilot icon in D365 Finance and Operations and couldn't use Copilot Sidecar feature

Enabled the below feature

AIB Role, Finance and Operations AI, System Administrator roles are enabled for the user in Power Platform admin center

However, we could use other feature /Confirmed purchase orders with changes/

Not sure if we are missing any other setup to use Sidecar feature.

Kindly assist.

Hi, have you check the Copilot international availability guide: BAP Copilot International Availability| Dynamics 365 (microsoft.com) to see if the region is available in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
Besides, you can double check the prerequisites for copilot:

Enable Copilot capabilities in finance and operations apps (preview) - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

If neither of the above works, can you try to redeploy the environment and start set up from scratch.

Thank you for your reply.

As per https://dynamics.microsoft.com/en-us/availability-reports/copilotreport/ Country India is available for Copilot

We followed https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/copilot/enable-copilot#countryregion-and-language-availability and all looks fine.

We created the Sandbox environment using Power Platform Admin Center and not from LCS

Not sure if we are missing any other setup, subscription to enable Sidecar capability.

Hi,

Step 2 in the below URL talks about Enable Power Platform to publish bots with AI feature

However, when I logged into https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/ I couldn't see the "Settings" in the navigation pane to enable "Publish bots with AI features".

Would this be the reason that I couldn't see Sidecar capability?

Hi Sridhar,

The name of the setting is a bit different. Or can't you see the Settings button at all? In that case, you might need other permissions, like the Dynamics 365 administrator role.

I couldn't see the Settings button in the navigation pane; I could see only the below buttons in the navigation pane.

Also, I would like to know if we enable Publish bots with AI features can we use Sidecar capability?

Hi Andres,

Our admin has enabled the feature and I think it is global and not related to an User.

Still we are getting the error when we click on Copilot Icon

The issue has been fixed by reinstalling the app "Copilot in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management'
