Spin up D365 Finance Development VM with personal account

Hi Everyone,

Can we spin up D365 Finance DEV VM with personal account?

If not, with new feature of one dynamics one platform, do we have any option to get subscription with personal account?

I need this VM for practice purpose.

    Hi Rhushikesh,
     
    There is no option to deploy a Dynamics 365 environment using a personal account, also not with ODOP. Dynamics 365 is a business application requiring a organizational account managed using Entra ID. 
     
    FYI, I was able to register a private domain called 'dynamicspedia.com' and did setup Azure Entra ID. That will be considered as an organizational account. Personal emails such as hotmail.com, live.com, or gmail.com are not possible to setup as organizational domain.
     
    In case you would have a private organizational account, then getting Dynamics 365 is hard and it will cost a lot of money. You can better talk with your employer (if you are employed with a partner) to get access to a development instance. 
     
    FYI, personal accounts can be configured as guest users in Dynamics 365, but can't be used for deployments.
