Unsubscribe functionality in Customer Voice

Hi all, I am unable to get the unsubscribe links to do anything useful.  During a test email distribution of the survey, we include the unsub link.  When the test recipients click it and then submit the unsubscribe request, it doesn't reflect in Customer Voice.  And it doesn't even really reflect in CDS/Dynamics because there's no data.  Any suggestions?  

The expected behavior would be at least reporting in CV.  But there are no unsub results showing in CV:

I would expect a Contact record in CDS (if available) to be updated (e.g. Bulk Email - allow/do not allow).  But maybe that is not standard enough and it could be achieved through automation if....there was a way to automate it.

The Customer Voice unsubscribed recipient table (msfp_unsubscribedrecipient) creates a row but there is nothing identifiable on it:

    Thank you!  I was able to verify this, after sending to the same unsubbed contacts.  I would submit these this one item of feedback:   since "Unsubscribed" does not update until the NEXT time you attempt the send, I would suggest updating the label to something like "Previously Unsubscribed" or add an (i) bubble to explain this applies next time.

    JLucas -- when your recipient un-subscribed to the email, the next time you send the survey invite, it will be blocked and shown as unsubscribe on "send" survey report tab in Customer Voice.

    When you query the "Customer Voice unsubscribed recipients" in DataVerse (CDS), make sure to add "Email address" column from the advanced find editor :

    The email address will be used to check if the recipient has previously unsubscribed.
