Hi folks,
I am looking at Risk classification in d365 and would like to know what are these ranges here? What ranges we input here to give it a risk indicator? Is it the number of days range or something else?
Thank you,
Bele
Hi Bele,
The ranges are related to risk scores being calculated by a periodic job. You can read more on this blog: MSDyn365FO Credit Management, Part 4 - What are Risk Scores and how are they updated? - (dynamicconsulting.com)
Hi Bell.D,
As mentioned,The risk score and sub groups are defined by you. There is no definition and it is individual per company or group of similar companies within The same industry. You can define risk assessments that can be assigned to customers, based on their risk score. A risk score is calculated by comparing customer information to each scoring group. The scores are summed, and the total score is compared to the values in the risk group setup to identify the risk group that the customer belongs to. The risk group score is then used to define credit management blocking and exclusion rules for the customer.
Thank you Andre.
I believe, these risk ranges indicates the severity of risk based on a company's preference. The risk score on the customer record shows what level of risk the customer signifies based on the risk classification indicator.
