ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

Any help is greatly appreciated. A client has this error out of nowhere, Microsoft Support are not helping and we are stuck. Most entities show this error. No customisations were done to cause this issue. The only thing that happened is Microsoft added what they called a mitigation script to mark a record form as undeleted in order for a solution upgrade to work (which wasn't applied or anything).

Not sure why this is happening :-/

SOLUTION:

  • The issue is a DB/ScaleGroup versions issue.
  • Go to your instance, then go to the About section, you will see something similar to this:

Version 1612 (9.0.2.54) (DB 9.0.2.53) online

if the two versions are different and you are seeing query builder issues, raise a ticket with Microsoft and say that you think it is the version so it gets actioned faster.

Is it the same error for all the entities?

'EmailServerProfile' entity doesn't contain attribute with Name = 'dataencryptionkey' and NameMapping = 'Platform'

We also have the exact same error via the web interface.

PS: Microsoft confirms that this issue has nothing to do with the Script they had to apply, which I am having a little hard to believe.
