Using different reason codes for two half day requests for same day

We are using a new plan to track employees home working during the Covid pandemic. An employee is trying to book two half days on the same day, for the same Plan but for different reason codes and it will no allow the second submission due to the same Plan and Date already in use. Is there a setting to derive the request against the Reason Code? We do not half AM/PM switched on as piloting Leave module currently in UK only where its not used.

    Hi, there is a ticket raised and being investigated. With the half day definition option switched on, you can raise requests for the same plan on the same day with different reason codes. However, the first request has to be in an approved state before you can submit the second request.

    This doesn't quite suit what we are trying to use the plan for so hoping the selection of different reason codes can be used to differentiate the requests on submission.

    Thank you for your patience - after looking a bit more on my side, and consulting some other resources, this may be best investigating by opening a support case to see if this might be a possible quality issue (if you have not already). This behavior strikes me as something that should process successfully, but due to the newness of the functionality, it could benefit from having a thorough look on our end.

    Hi, yes using Leave and Absence. The error message states (correctly) that the plan has already been booked against on that day. However, the employee is trying to book 2 half day periods against 2 different reason codes in the same plan on the same day.

    The first request is fine but cannot submit the second. (same issue for manager and HR roles when booking on behalf of the employee)

    Good afternoon - thank you for your question. Just to confirm, these times are being entered through the new Leave and Absence, is that correct? How is the time being entered and is there an error message that the user receives when attempting to do so, i.e. is it specifically indicating that the entry for that time/plan already exists, even though the employee is not using the same plan?
