We have several SQL temp tables in the TEMDB that are causing performance issue in GP. I have not seen these tables before and don't know what Module they from, the temp tables are all #DimensionTable.
Are these from Analytical Accounting or perhaps MDA temp tables?
I have found AA to be a big hindrance to many GP installations. I only install it when the client has a need for it. Too many times I will come across an installation where it was installed with every possible module. This can often cause problems at upgrade time as some modules were skipped in prior upgrades and then you start hunting in the DU000020 table for versions per module per company.
It appears they are related to Analytical Accounting when it is activated in a GP company database, i.e. showing a value of 4 for the company status in the AAG00104 system table.
As they are temp tables, they should be removed from TEMPDB when you're logged out of Dynamics GP.
While I don't work with AA directly, I do know having AA activated will slow down processes in Dynamics GP, compared to a company that doesn't have AA activated in it.
