NAV to GP Integration

Has anyone ever tried to integrate transaction from a standalone NAV system to GP?

We investigating a NAV POS system that is an awesome fit but our back end is GP and we would need to bring the detailed SOP transactions processed in NAV back to customer accounts in GP.

Thanks

Chad Smith

Connector for Microsoft Dynamics could do this as well.  It can read orders from NAV and send them GP.  This would not be a standard application of the product but it certainly can be done.  More details can be found here:  blogs.msdn.com/.../dynamicsconnector

    Hi Chad,

We have developed an integration solution for both GP and NAV and should be able to assist once we learn more about you. Using the nChannel connector for Microsoft Dynamics NAV you can quickly and easily integrate and connect your Microsoft ERP system to a variety of Point of Sale, eCommerce, 3PL or remote warehouse systems. You can read more about this on our website: www.nchannel.com/connect-microsoft-dynamics-nav

The community may have more details if anyone has built something for this, but as is, you would need to create your own intergration between the two products. You could export the transactions out of NAV using a couple different methods such as a XML Port or Web Services, then format it appropriately and use eConnect on GP side to bring in the transactions. GP eConnect has a well formatted XML document you would have to use but there is a serialization assembly to create the format for you if you wish. This would be the only way I know of to create this type of integration between the two products.
